Emily has long held a passion for supporting children with neurodevelopmental differences, in academic, behavioural, and emotional domains. Spending most of her high school years supporting children at the elementary level, Emily continued her involvement in support in the SMILE program while completing her BSc degree in Psychology at Acadia University. Seeking out a continuation of her education through a hands-on perspective, Emily completed her Graduate Certificate in Behavioural Interventions in 2025. Emily's passion lies in combining her educational and practical experience to support children and families in their respective developments.  

Born in Sheffield, England, and raised in Tatamagouche, NS, Emily enjoys spending time with her loved ones above anything else. When not at work, Emily can usually be found outside with a good book or driving around exploring the coast of Nova Scotia.
