Melissa MacDonald is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who has been supporting individuals and families since 2001, with a focus on early intervention across home, daycare, school, and centre-based settings.

She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Thomas University and a Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Brock University.

Melissa began her journey in behaviour science as a high school student and has since provided clinical supervision and direction for early intervention programs in northern and southern Ontario, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. She currently shares her knowledge and passion as a faculty member in the Behavioural Interventions graduate certificate program at NSCC’s Strait Area Campus. Melissa is dedicated to collaborative goal setting and creating fun, meaningful learning experiences.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys playing pickleball, visiting family and friends in her hometown in Prince Edward Island, and roaming the beaches of NS and PEI in search of beach treasures.

She will be providing BCBA services in Antigonish and surrounding areas.
